Randy Grimes the Pentecostal preacher and Angie Barker is his father. Luke Grimes is the son of Randy Grimes, who is a Pentecostal pastor, and Angie Barker. Three sisters are his: Racheal Abby Grimes and Seth Grimes. Luke Grimes grew up with an orthodox and religious family. He was a student at Dayton Christian High School. After graduation from high school in 2002, Luke was able to move into New York City to pursue his dream of being an actor. He was enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where he studied acting for two years. The musical abilities of his were improved by taking lessons in guitar and singing.
